Abstract
Various approaches to the solution of the inverse problem of electrocardiography have been proposed over the years. In this paper the authors compare results using body surface potentials alone, body surface Laplacians alone, and fusing the two signals on two model problems with different assumed cardiac sources. The results indicate that fusing the sensor data gives uniformly good estimates of the epicardial potentials
