Abstract :
State estimation of electric power systems is one of the most important problems of electric power systems operating control. The Energy Systems Institute of SB RAS has developed a state estimation method based on test equations. Test equations are the equations that contain only measured variables. The paper describes three variants of the algorithms for EPS state estimation, in which all measurements should be divided into basic and redundant. It suggests three approaches to choosing basic measurements. Constraints in the form of a system of test equations that are set up by two methods: topological and algebraic are applied for estimation. Two combinations of measured variables differing from each other by availability or absence of the voltage phase at buses are dealt with. The most qualitative results of EPS state estimation are determined by two criteria: the objective function value for SE and the condition number of the basic matrix.
