Abstract :
A novel method and the instrumentation developed for analog measuring of pulse width (T10 or T50) and rise time (T10-90) of cardiac defibrillator discharges are presented. The input pulse is applied to an analog delay network and to a peak detector which determines reference voltages. Those phase-shifted signals go to a comparator that generates the control pulse. A counter and a decoder excite the LCD display that shows the measured parameters with accuracy better than 0.33%
