Abstract :
This paper introduces a voltage-controlled oscillator applied to 24GHz automotive collision warning radar based on the negative resistance characteristics of microwave transistor. The simulated results show that the center of oscillator frequency bandwidth is 12.10GHz, the tuning bandwidth is more than 150MHz and the phase noise is -105dBc/Hz@100kHz. The output power achieved 10dBm. It will match the requirements of application.
