  • Abstract
    A closed form expression for input impedance of a very low frequency small loop antenna located on the Earth surface is presented. The derivation uses an exact expression obtained via Sommerfeld integral representation for the magnetic vector potential of a horizontal current element radiating over a dissipative half space.
