Abstract :
A 100-mA CMOS low-dropout regulator (LDO) with a new frequency compensation method is presented in this work. With only a compensation pMOS transistor, the LDO can be stable with a 4.7muF load capacitor and has high PSRR and good transient response performance. Simulation results show that the output voltage can recover within 1mus for full load current changes and the voltage variation is less than 8mV. The power-supply rejection ratio at 1KHz is -72.3dB
