Abstract
Describes the use of a novel scheme that employs parallel line excitation patterns to achieve position selective stimulation of nerve fibers/fascicles. Computer simulation results show 100% selectivity for stimulating fibers in each fascicle of a multifascicular nerve. The results support the feasibility of proposed scheme for its use in practical Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) systems
