Abstract :
This paper illustrates the development of the automatic measurement and control system (AMCS) based on control area network (CAN) bus for the engine electronic control unit (ECU). The system composes of the ECU, test ECU (TECU), simulation ECU (SIMU), usb-CAN communication module (CRU ) and AMCS software platform, which is applied for engine control, data collection, transmission, engine signals simulation and the data conversion from CAN to USB and master control simulation and measurement. The AMCS platform software is designed with VC++ 6.0.This system has been applied in the development of engine ECU widely.
