Abstract
The design of low power integrated DC-DC converters were traditionally dominated by analog PWM controllers. With the recent development of low power digital controllers, integrated DC-DC converters with new functionalities such as multi-mode operation, on-the-fly power transistor sizing and reconfiguration, etc. becomes a reality. This paper examines some of the benefits and limitations of digital control techniques for low power, integrated DC-DC converters
