Abstract
Detection, localization and approximate imaging of tunnels, caches, underground networks and facilities is the objective of this work. To achieve this goal, a set of transmitters and receivers are deployed arbitrarily above the area of regard. Using the principles of RF tomography, 3D images of the below-ground scene are provided. In this paper, the surveilled region is assumed to be deep and large, and its surface does not need to be flat. Due to the irregularity of the surface, a numerical Green´s function for the problem needs to be computed and inserted into the forward model of RF tomography.
