Abstract :
The conception of supply chain comes into being at the end of 1970s´. The enterprise can reduce the cost and promote the efficiency by control the value stream, money stream, and information stream and work stream in the supply chain. The SCM theme covers a broad spectrum of construction supply chain related issues, including value stream mapping and analysis to improve flow through the supply chain, innovative procurement methods to mobilizes the supply chain and create long-term relations, new production and business strategies to integrate the supply chain, comparative analyses between supply chain practice in construction and other industries, and shifting roles and changing power balance through the supply chain. Agriculture becomes more and more important, especially after China entering WTO, and how to construct a new agriculture supply chain is becoming a much more urgent problem faced to our country. In this paper, an agriculture supply chain management DSS is set up to solve this problem. It can give valuable advices to the decision makers by efficiently using the modern technologies that include operational research and agent technology.
