  • Abstract
In industrial systems, maximizing reliability is considered as an important issue. Increase in reliability of a system is possible through different ways; Increase in reliability of every subsystems, increase in the number of repair and maintenance inspections and increase in the number of redundant equipment, that is one of the most import strategies. In this paper, the subject has been verified as optimum designing and allocating redundant equipments based on maximizing reliability and minimizing costs and time of completing activities in system. This subject is one of nonlinear optimizing subjects types. In recent studies in the field of allocating different types of components in a parallel system, metaheuristics was applied significantly. In this research, considering that the subject structure is NP-HARD, meta heuristic genetic algorithms is applied.
