Abstract
A novel reliable baseline wander (BLW) compensation circuit for 100/1000Base-TX application is proposed. It adopts peak detectors to monitor BLW and negative feedback method to achieve reliable performance and high compensation accuracy. A linearized gm-cell helps to enlarge the compensation range. It is fabricated in 1st silicon 0.25mum CMOS technology. Measurement results show that it can steadily compensate the worst case BLW value defined by the ANSI standard
