Abstract :
The dielectric response of a 50 metre length of XLPE coaxial signal cable has been measured at intervals during the growth of water trees. The cable is intended to act as a laboratory model of a service distribution cable. Changes can clearly be observed in the dielectric response of the system at both low and high frequencies
