  • Abstract
    An approach is outlined for designing on RTI (road transport informatics) system architecture by means of SDL (Specification and Description Language) which was applied within the framework of system architecture development activities of the German PRO-GEN, a sub-program of PROMETHEUS. To demonstrate the consistency and effectiveness of this approach, examples of a model architecture for an integrated inter-urban traffic management and information system are presented.
