Abstract
The authors present an efficient algorithm for the calculation of the Horowitz bound function. This function is required in the Horowitz method for the design of robust control systems. The algorithm applies to the case in which the uncertain plant to be controlled is an interval plant. An illustrative example involving a stable interval reciprocal plant is considered
