Abstract :
In this paper, we describe the implementation of sentential Korean standard sign language (hereinafter, "KSSL") recognition and representation system using wireless haptic devices based on the post wearable PC. The advantages of our study are as follows: 1) it improves efficiency of KSSL input module according to the technology of wireless communication, 2) it recognizes and represents continuous KSSL of users with flexibility in real time, and 3) it is possible more effective and free interchange of ideas and information between the hearing-impaired and hearing person. Experimental result shows an average recognition rate of 94.2% for significant KSSL
