  • Abstract
Averaging methods are used to study the behaviour of an adaptive controller in the presence of slowly time-varying parameters. The aim is to combine on the one hand explicit incorporation of time-varying parameters into adaptive control stability analysis and on the other averaging methods. Together, these form a powerful tool for the analysis of adaptive algorithms
