Abstract
The authors present first results of the validation of a flexible wind turbine model. First, a modular structured theoretical model of a wind turbine is discussed. Experiments on a wind turbine system were performed for validation purposes. Experimental models have been calculated to explain the input-output relations of the experimental data. A stochastic part of the experimental models is necessary. It is shown that the theoretical model predicts approximately the same outputs as the experimental model. Hence the theoretical model can be used to describe this part of the wind turbine behavior
