Abstract :
In this paper we study the spin torque driven magnetization dynamics of metalic spin valve structures based on a free composite synthetic ferromagnet (SyF) that consists of two ferromagnetic layers coupled through a normal metal spacer. The magnetization can be excited into dynamical precessional states by an applied electric current at zero external magnetic field. This device can be used for nanoscale microwave oscillator or spin wave emitter in magnonic circuit.
