Modelling of a multi-agent tool to aid information searching on the Internet

On the Internet there exists a great variety of tools to aid users in searching, finding and managing the information available throughout the world. However, one of the weakness of search systems is the absence of clear organisation of tools used during searching. We present a new aid for searching and managing available information on the Internet. It is a multi-agent system which integrates a certain number of special agents which execute well defined tasks during an information search. The preliminary results permit the validation of different aspects of the proposed architecture and demonstrate the clear utilisation of our approach.
