  • Abstract
Techniques for analyzing systems in the presence of structured norm-bounded perturbations (M. Khammash and J.B. Pearson, 1991) are extended and applied to assess the improvement that linear time-varying controllers can yield over linear-time-invariant controllers. In this case it is shown that linear time-invariant controllers perform as well as time-varying controllers for the problem of robust stability and performance for systems with structured norm-bounded perturbations
