  • Abstract
    In this work, dual-mode ring bandpass filters are presented by loading the stacked defected ground structures (SDGS) on the ground plane. Owing to the slow-wave effect which is resulted from the ring and DGS architectures, the circuit can reduce 32.4% area of the uniform one. There is a good agreement between simulated and measured results.
