  • Abstract
This paper presents a specific simulation modeling of a hydraulic system with regenerative braking used to improve vehicle emissions and fuel economy. To optimize the bus integrated performance, an exact modeling of hydraulic component has been built up in Matlab/Siumulink. The simulation has been run on both designated parameters and CYC-UDDS drive cycle. At last, experiment results show that the simulation is correct and also confirm the system can reduce 20 percent of the fuel consumption.
