Abstract :
The performance of a class of uncertain nonlinear dynamical systems is considered. The control input norm is assumed to be bounded by a prespecified constant. The authors constrain the control input supplied to the system and observe its effect on the system performance without limiting the region of attraction. More specifically, they determine the size of the uniform ultimate boundedness region as a function of the control constraint. The region of attraction obtained with this control is global, but this may affect the regulation or tracking accuracy
