  • Abstract
An aeroelastic system whose state space model described by a singular integro-differential equation is considered. The focus is on the so-called indicial problem where the initial conditions are zero. A finite-dimensional controller stabilizing this infinite-dimensional system is designed. The problem of reducing the closed-loop system sensitivity to disturbances is also discussed. Frequency-domain H design techniques are used to achieve the control objectives
