Abstract :
Considerations on the application of the ";enlargement law"; have been performed following dielectric strength tests on short samples of both cable models and real cables. In particular it has been considered the application of such law when the aim is the comparison of the dielectric strength relevant to typical installation length of real cables manufactured with different insulation compounds.
