Abstract :
The authors consider the problem of finding an internally stabilizing controller that minimizes an upper bound on the system gain (from L2 to L) of a closed loop map, subject to an inequality constraint on the H norm of some other closed loop map. The main contribution of the present work is to show that global solutions to this class of multiobjective synthesis problems may be found by solving a finite-dimensional convex program
