Abstract :
To show that communication technologies that enable a seamless flow of information across diverse groups would be essential for the success of projects in the 21st century. An example problem is presented to illustrate a possible 21st century project scenario. The various stakeholders are identified along with their diverse information needs. A range of available communication technologies is examined for their capacity to achieve seamless flow of information. After careful consideration of the merits and demerits of each technology, it is found that use of online web databases is the most effective technique for serving the diverse information needs of all the project stakeholders. A plan of action is also provided for handling exceptions
