Abstract :
In this paper, a design method of a GA-based fuzzy supervisory PI controller of a heat exchanger is proposed. The effectiveness of the genetic algorithms (GAs) enables the fuzzy sets and rules to be optimally defined. Simulation results show that the optimally designed fuzzy supervisory PI controller achieves better results than the classical PI controller
