Abstract
This paper describes the development of a high-speed brushless AC motor for domestic appliances. Some critical issues in the design of a two-phase inverter-driven induction type appliance motor are discussed. A novel space vector modulation method for the two-phase system is introduced. The results of experimentation are also presented
