Abstract
The low output harmonics, low switching loss and low switch stress current half-bridge inverter for electroluminescent (EL) lamp is presented and experimented. This inverter is based on a half bridge inverter and controlled by a simple hysteresis current control circuit. The inverter operation is optimized with the output harmonics, switch stress current and switching loss by adjusting the hysteresis band and reference signal of the controller. The experimental results show that the lower switch stress current and harmonics spectrum of output voltage and current compare with the conventional type
