Abstract :
An issue of considerable importance, involves the problem of how to simultaneously allocate a fixed input resources and set targets among a set of competing entities in an equitable way. Based on data envelopment analysis (DEA), the current paper proposes a new method for simultaneously allocating fixed input resources and setting targets to all decision making units (DMUs), in such a way that all efficiencies of DMUs achieve the maximal efficiency scores and the distribution should reflect the individual DMUs´ scales of inputs consumption and outputs production. To illustrate the method, numerical results for an example are presented in this paper.
