Abstract
In this paper, we describe the organization, management and effectiveness of binational student teams for a course project on a global supply chain. Specifically, teams consisting of students from Iowa State University and University of Strathclyde, Scotland work on the formulation and analysis of the global supply chain of a food product under various cultural and regulatory constraints. Each team utilizes gradually constructive, Internet-based collaboration platforms for communication and interaction, and submits the solutions and reasons via the platforms. This endeavor is motivated in part by ABET outcome assessment items on teams, and the progress made thus far as well as the future direction were presented
