Abstract :
The paper presents the design of a highly efficient class-E RF power amplifier for application to the technique of envelope elimination and restoration (Kahn, L., 1952). Since the roles of an envelope detector, the limiter and a switching power supply are also important in this structure, their design methods are introduced along with the design steps of the class-E amplifier.
