Abstract :
When an object projected on a camera, the shape of the projected object image is governed by the relative position and orientation between object and camera. On the other hand, object radiance, viewing angle and distance at the time of taking picture determine the image brightness of an object. So radiometry and geometry both have an important role to describe an object in an imaging plane. Light Emitting Diode (LED) is a perfect source of illumination, which can also be used for communication. For this purpose, it is necessary to model radiation pattern of LED as well as the geometry of the receiving plane. This paper describe radiometric and geometric camera model for Optical Camera Communications (OCC). Also, this paper analyzes simulated image of LEDs for different position and rotation of the camera.
