Abstract
In this paper, an optimal predictive control scheme, generalized predictive control, is applied to regulate the machine input current of a PWM CSI-fed induction motor drive. The space-vector modulation technique was used to control the switching states of the input rectifier. Simulation studies show that the proposed control scheme can give both high-performance speed regulation and unity input power factor
