Abstract :
This paper presents an 8 bit digital to analog converter with logic presetable steps implemented in a 0.8 micron BiCMOS technology. The circuit design emphasis its simplicity and compactness. The designed circuit parameters, together with the description and the layout of the converter and the current source as well as some component blocks are presented in this paper
