Abstract :
Summary form only given. We present here for the first time the system demonstration of a network testbed that comprises of a four-node, two-ring and five WDM X-Cs, and four ATM/SONET switches to perform reconfigurable user-requested multimedia services. The objective here is to study the characteristics of rearrangeability and control algorithms through wavelength re-use and wavelength translation in a network testbed
