Abstract :
Innovation is believed as momentum factor for organization to change and to sustain. The innovation itself needs power of leader´s influence to activate the capacity of human capital in order to be innovative. However, recent research had showed that the study of measuring the connection between leadership, organizational climate and innovative work behavior are few in numbers. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to discuss the literature review on mediating effect of organizational climate between two variables which are leadership practices and innovative work behavior. The collection and critical analysis of relevant publications of secondary data was analyzed which leads to the development of hypotheses. A theoretical framework is also developed at the end of this discussion to describe the mediating effect of organizational climate towards leadership practices and innovative work behavior. Indeed, this paper puts some theoretical meanings as well as the direction of future research.
