Abstract
The paper presents some results of studies on network parameters and harmonic modes in the electric networks of Eastern Siberia with the help of frequency characteristics. The frequency characteristics can be applied to detect resonant modes in the network, estimate the effect of capacitors on harmonic modes to compensate for reactive power, choose the parameters of passive filters and places of their installation. The study of frequency characteristics of input admittances at network nodes is also very important to forecast harmonic voltage levels under operating conditions.
