Abstract :
This paper presents 150% bandwidth ratio balanced cascode amplifier with the optimum load impedances for broadband performance. For the..optimized inductor and capacitor connected to gate-source of common gate FET and output in parallel, the measured and simulated PAE and output power are in good agreement in wide frequency range. The developed power amplifier achieved PAE of over 30 % and output power of over 32 dBm in the 120-500 MHz band.
