Abstract
This receiver has been used to measure a parabolic antenna of 450 mm diameter at 21.7 GHz and 35 GHz at Purple Mountain Observatory test site. At these two frequencies, the receiver is the same with disparate mixers and oscillators in the first-stage frequency conversion(mixerl and LOl shown in Fig.2), one at 21.7 GHz and another at 35 GHz. Figure 6 and figure 7 are measured results at 21.7 GHz and figures 8 and figure 9 are measured results at 35 GHz, which are normalized in a computer. Theoretical Simulating curves (in dash) are given in figure 8. From these results, the dynamic range of the receiver is more than 45dB.
