  • Abstract
According to the shortcoming of hiding capacity is low in the traditional reversible image hiding algorithm, a reversible data hiding algorithm based on pixels difference is proposed. It utilizes the relevance of two adjacent pixels to hide data by modifying pixel grayscale values. Plenty of experimental results show that it can hide more data than many of the existing reversible data hiding algorithms. The hiding capacity can be up to 28 817-88 330b when the pink signal-to-noise (PSNR) of carrier image is more than 48 dB, and when the hiding capacity is 90 002b the PSNR also can be up to 47.814 dB. Comparing with other algorithms, this algorithm can guarantee the quality of carrier image better after hiding mass secret information.
