Abstract
In conclusion, optical parametric oscillators (OPO)s constructed with KTiOPO4, undoped KTiOAsO4 (KTA), and AgGaSe 2 crystals were investigated for their use as mid-IR wavelength converters for a 1.047 pm Nd:YLF master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA). The two stage OPO conversion produced excellent beam quality and moderate average powers due to only minor crystal absorptions at the pump, signal, and idler wavelengths in AgGaSe2
