Abstract :
This analysis has demonstrated a successful analysis and optimization techniques to improve the typically narrowband monopole disc antenna. The shorting post technique has succeeded to increase the bandwidth of the monopole disc antenna and the omni-directional radiation pattern is consistent throughout the frequency of interest. This can be concluded that this monopole disc antenna managed to perform a multi-band characteristic antenna for the cellular application.
