Abstract :
We report 12-ps RZ code transmission of signals over 203-km dispersive fibre by means of mid span spectral inversion (MSSI) to compensate dispersion. Through optimizing pump and signal power, we perform the spectral inversion by four-wave mixing in a semiconductor optical amplifier.
