Abstract
In this paper, scalar and vectorial analyses of non-diffracting Bessel beams have been presented. The TM and TE modes Bessel beams are given; the polarization states of Bessel beams have been discussed in detail; and the flow of the electromagnetic energy has also been calculated. These results are helpful to understand Bessel beams properties and to generate Bessel beams. We have done some researches on the generation of Bessel beams at millimeter and submillimeter waves.
