Abstract :
Humans have been constantly striving to make life simpler and more organized. With rapid advancement in electronic technology, we have all sorts of gadgets to interact with the physical world around us. For such an application, Touch screen technology is yet another promising platform, but has hardly been explored. In our project, we used touch screen to control the movement of a bot as precisely as possible by taking the input from user on the screen. The speed and direction of the bot were mapped to the coordinates with appropriate functions to provide easy and intuitive control. This approach does not map the distance directly, hence there is no limit to the size of the arena or restriction of motion, thus provides as much freedom as possible to move the bot by controlling the two parameters.
