Abstract :
This article takes the two-stage screw type solar array which has multi-deployment and lock function as a study object, and simplifies the joint hinge as rotation vice according to the transmission order of multi-deployment and lock joint hinge. Based on the kinematics characteristic analysis of solar array´s deployment and the Kane dynamic equation, the dynamics analysis model of solar array´s deployment is established. The structure parameter and the physical parameter of physical prototype are used to compute the driven torque of the two-stage screw type multi-deployment and lock solar array. At the same time, the analysis result indicated the force of inertia and the structure parameter of solar array had affect greatly to its deployment. Thus the theory basis is provided for optimizing, torque tolerance and the strength calculation of the solar array.
